Counting down to GTA 6’s bombastic November 2026 launch
After being met with two delays the current date appears to be locked in for good, with a recent Take-Two financial report that suggests “launch marketing” will kick off this Summer in the lead up to the arrival of what is undoubtedly one of the biggest new games of 2026. The fact that Rockstar isn’t planning on dropping ads throughout the cultural event of a video game? Well, that’s a grateful bonus, I guess.
Fans are ravenous. It’s been decade since GTA 5, and while GTA Online is still very active and the 2012 adventure holds plenty of hints for what’s to come, there’s a huge appetite for more Grand Theft Auto. As of right now in March, the two trailers we’ve been treated to so far and the handful of information on Rockstar’s official website are just blood in the water. We’ve seen plenty of false starts playing off the incredible buzz. One fake GTA 6 leaker has even apologized for how much their red herrings made people spiral.
