So I’m just strolling through the park last weekend, headphones in, not thinking about anything, when I notice a small crowd gathered near the fountain.
At first, I think, Okay, maybe a photoshoot or something. No big deal.
Then I get closer. And… it’s a wedding. A full-on wedding.
Cue panic mode.
Before I can turn around, a bridesmaid spots me. She panics. Someone hands me a flower corsage and whispers, “Just… follow the group.”
Next thing I know, I’m walking down the “aisle,” holding a flower I didn’t even know I had, trying my best to look important. The bride glances my way once, raises an eyebrow, and keeps going. I swear the groom did a double take too.
I have no idea how long I stayed there, but somehow I survived the ceremony without anyone noticing I wasn’t actually part of the wedding party.
Finally, I manage to sneak out. Mission accomplished.
And just as I’m leaving, a little kid in the crowd runs up to me and says, “You looked really important!”
Yeah. That’s my legacy now. Accidental wedding VIP.
